Passionate Playback: Week 5
To all my fellow league mates, we thank you for the consistent support of the Passionate Playback and the staff’s (of just me) indefatigable dedication to providing you only the utmost quality of content covering our league. As many of you know, due to recent events that took place in the Cowboys and Giants football game on October 11, 2020 at approximately 3:03 pm, which resulted in the absolute obliteration of our star quarterback’s ankle, morale at the office’s headquarters has been extremely low. As you can imagine, all hope for our team’s future was carted off the field with our man Dak last Sunday afternoon, and thus, in an unprecedented decision, and one of the most difficult calls I have ever had to make in my history as director, I have concluded it was best to suspend all operations relating to the Passionate Playback creative productions. We ask for privacy in this difficult time of grieving, and that you keep us in your prayers. It is our promise that this one week hiatus will provide us the necessary time to honor our fallen QB and pay him the proper respect he deserves. We will be back next week stronger and better than ever with a full Passionate Playback as scheduled. Like always, good luck and godspeed in your Week 6 fantasy battles. We will leave you with Power Rankings so you know where you stand going into this weekend. Until next week…
P.S. If you think it’s a cop out and extremely selfish that we can will nilly just cancel the weekly recap because our team sucks and our best player was injured, to that I say… Get over it!
